Join us at the Jewish Orthodox Women's Medical Association (JOWMA) for an inspiring panel event. This gathering is a powerful opportunity for both male and female physicians, physician trainees and community members to find support and inspiration, especially in the current socio-political climate and following the events of October 7th.

We are proud to feature a panel of distinguished speakers, each an advocate for Israel and against antisemitism, and a testament to the courage and resilience of the Jewish spirit in healthcare.

Dr. Sheila Nazarian: A renowned plastic surgeon and influential voice, Dr. Nazarian commands a following of over 880K. She passionately uses her platform to advocate for Israel and against antisemitism, embodying the strength and determination of our community.

Dr. Ira Savetsky: A distinguished plastic surgeon, Dr. Savetsky is known for his unwavering commitment to advocating for Israel and combating antisemitism. His inspiring stance is a beacon of leadership in the medical community.

Dr. Katie Hulbert: As a psychiatrist, Dr. Hulbert offers insightful perspectives on mental resilience. Her advocacy against antisemitism is a powerful reminder of the importance of mental strength in challenging times.

Ariella Lowenstein: Ariella Loewenstein is the Deputy Regional Director for ADL Los Angeles. ADL is a leading anti-hate organization. As Deputy Regional Director, Ms. Loewenstein oversees the administration of the office including staff development and supervision and directs communications with various constituencies. She assists in planning, developing, and implementing advocacy initiatives, program activities, and services in the community to advance ADL’s mission within the region.

The panel will be led by Dr. Sahar Wertheimer, a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialist. Dr. Wertheimer is a vocal advocate for Jewish causes and against antisemitism, using her platform to champion strength and unity.

This event is an assembly of support, advice, and inspiration, inviting Jewish medical professionals to unite and draw strength from speakers who are unequivocal in their beliefs and proudly Jewish.
